Winter at a glance

Winter at a glance
Originally uploaded by Pie's Photography

I have been completely un-inspired the last couple of weeks. The standard time change really threw me this fall, …I think I prefer day light savings time over the latter – the day light seemed to agree with me better back then – who knows. I got the itch the other night though, I think it was Monday night, the light of the setting sun over the frosted/snowy landscape was the finest art I have ever seen.
Unreal
I never got to photograph the evening,
no regrets,
just a ton of inspiration.

it was a beatiful, warm morning & I had a half hour before work for a little walk down the driveway, the air was actually heavy with humidity. Looks like nice weather until Sunday - get out & enjoy it!

I enjoy the challenge of framing a subject that has balance in both colour & design. It’s gets easier with any zoom lens – eliminate & isolate. My tripod has been my best friend this fall, with most days over cast this simple & versatile piece of equipment has helped in taking sharp images
